Bjørn de Wildt, born in Norway (1980) grew up in the Netherlands where he finished his directing studies at the Fontys Theatre academy in Tilburg in 2008.

In the Netherlands he worked as an actor for different (youth) theatre productions and developed immersive theatre plays for festivals and theatres.

Since 2011 Bjørn lives and works in Berlin as a theatre pedagogue and director. He works for theatres like the Neuköllner Oper, Theater STRAHL and Junges Deutsches Theater.

His music theatre piece ‘Orpheus Optimal’ was selected for ‘Theatertreffen der Jugend’ and ‘Rampenlichter Festival’ in 2019.
